Simple calendar maths — ignores free trials and mid-year changes.

What does that monthly cost add up to?

Monthly subscription and membership fees feel small until you multiply by twelve. Enter the monthly amount and optional seat or item count; the calculator annualises (×12) and also shows quarterly (÷4), weekly (÷52) and daily (÷365) equivalents so you can compare plans on the same footing. It is simple calendar maths — useful when deciding whether an annual prepay discount is worth locking in, or when two “cheap” apps together rival a single higher-tier plan. For modelling several recurring services together see the subscription cost tool.

Worked example

£14.99 per month × 12 = £179.88 per year. That is about £44.97 per quarter, £3.46 per week and £0.49 per day at one seat.

Limits and assumptions

Ignores free trials, mid-year cancellations, VAT changes and annual prepay discounts unless you adjust the monthly input yourself.

Frequently asked questions

When should I use the seat count?

When each seat or licence multiplies the same monthly price — for example three users at £14.99 each.

Is weekly exactly monthly × 12 ÷ 52?

Yes here. Real billing cycles can differ slightly; this is a planning conversion, not a bank statement.

How do I compare annual vs monthly billing?

Annualise the monthly plan, then compare with the prepaid annual price to see the discount.

Does this include tax?

Only if tax is already in the monthly figure you enter.
